  1. Use disc clean up wizard:

Luckily Microsoft is having an inbuilt disc cleaning wizard which helps you save disk space by cleaning temporary and non-useful system files time to time. Temporary system files are mostly large in size and waste of system storage. Here is how you can clear temporary files from your system.

you may not be aware about this, but your system has lots of duplicate files. These duplicate files are the result of same file downloaded multiple times. You have added some filter to a photo, you have the same file saved to multiple locations on your computer. to clear these files out manually you need to spend hours, so it is always a better idea to get help of a third-party software for this purpose. You will find lots of software for this purpose but the best one is which offers you to take online backup before deleting any files.

  1. Uninstall unnecessary programs:

Sometimes we just install programs for onetime use and we forget that it is still there on the disk. Such programs should be uninstalled time to time because they not only take the space on our hard drive, but they also keep updating which consumes bandwidth as well. To check the list of installed programs on your computer you can go to add remove programs by typing the same in the search box here you will find the list of all the programs installed on your computer. you can choose to uninstall the programs which you do not use or have no knowledge about.

This is how you can save space in Windows 10. Apart from this as a preventive measure you can opt not to save everything on your computer. Video content and songs are sufficiently available to watch or view online so it is a better idea to watch them there only instead of downloading.
