FoodsTop 5 Benefits of Juicing - Everything You Need to Know

Juicing has so many health benefits. Regardless of if your diet is squeaky clean or in need of a major rehaul and repair, juicing can give you the extra pep in your step that you have been searching for. Our lives are constantly bogged down by stress and environmental pollution regardless of if we can see it or not. Juicing ensures your cells and blood are nourished, clean and hydrated!

With busy schedules and bustling lifestyles, many find it hard to fit in their daily kale or spinach servings; juicing is a great way to do this! I am going to share the top five benefits of juicing to reset and renew your body, giving you energy, a new glow, and that much needed refreshment to your life! Check it out!

Benefits of Juicing

  1. Juicing is the fastest and easiest way to give your body nutrition!

The heating process of cooking food oftentimes destroys the micronutrients in vegetables by completely changing their composition. When you juice your fruits and vegetables, it eliminates this process altogether by delivering phytonutrients, vitamins, and enzymes.

  1. Juicing Gives You the Energy You’ve Been Searching For.

It is best to juice in the morning. Drinking fresh juice on an empty stomach will give you energy and boost your mood. Juicing extracts all the best nutrients for you out of the fruits and vegetables that you choose, saving your body energy, so it doesn’t have to break it down; this allows the nutrients to get to your cells rapidly by nourishing and replenishing them.

  1. Boosts Immunity

Regardless of if you notice it or not, we are surrounded by stress and pollution through our diets, lifestyles, and environment. Juicing is one of the best ways to keep your immune system healthy and body armed against illness. Immune-boosting juices provide a range of antioxidants that protect your body against free radicals that can damage your cells and have adverse effects on your health.

  1. Juicing Gives Your Digestive System a Break

Juicing counteracts harsh acidic diets. When you consume things like sugar, alcohol, flour, and meat, your body becomes acidic. Juicing helps to balance this by providing your digestive system with alkaline foods such as the vegetables in your juice. When you eat food, the body expels energy in the task of breaking it down. Juicing eliminates this task by allowing the nutrients to go directly to the cells, giving your digestive system a much-deserved break, allowing for a hard reset.

  1. Juicing Promotes Detoxification

Juicing is a great way to detoxify your body from toxins and chemicals that suppress your immune function and bog you down. Replacing one meal a day with juicing is a safe way to detoxify without missing important vitamins and nutrients.

Important Tibit

It is important to remember that when you juice, you should only use freshly washed, organic fruits and vegetables. Suppose you are using fruits and vegetables that are not organically grown. In that case, you will also be juicing the chemicals and pesticides that were used to grow your vegetables and will be consuming those, completely defeating the purpose of the cleansing process.

As you can see, juicing without question has many health benefits. You don’t have to love vegetables or be on the top of your health game to start the juicing process. With a little research and playing around with recipes, you can take your first steps toward a new and replenished version of yourself with an added glow, mental clarity, and energy that you never knew existed.
